Lone Mountain Riverfront Campground offers equestrian camping for both individuals and groups. 

  • Sites 12, 13, 14, and 15 are best suited to set up camp with your horse. 
  • A $10.00 fee for each horse per night in addition to the cost of the campsite.
  • There is access to water and a designated area for manure. 
  • Guests are responsible for bringing their own provisions for their stay. Please bring with you:
    • Portable fencing 
    • Equipment and food needed for your horse 
    • Tools to clean up after your horse 
    • A copy of Coggins test report 3 yrs in the state / 12 mo out of state.
  • Maps of the area’s trails are available in the office

  • Pets - Limited to 2 per campsite. They are to be kept leashed, quiet at all times, and never left unattended.
  • Firewood - Must be purchased locally. It is illegal to bring firewood into the state of Maine (to prevent the spread of insects). Fires must always be attended to.

Cost Details: 

  • Mountain View Sites - $50 per night (With water and electricity)
  • Wooded Sites - $50 per night (no water and electricity)
  • Back In Sites - $55 per night (With electric, sewer, and water)
