Bottomless Lakes State Park & Campground

Bottomless Lakes Campground offers hiking, biking, and horse camping activities. Aside from that, you can also find beautiful bluffs that are the perfect backdrop for taking pictures of the blue-green water, before heading back to your camp at night for a relaxing night under the stars. It also has plenty of spots for fishing, picnicking, and even a playground for those of you who are still young at heart. Take your entire group - there are camping and picnic pavilions for everyone, and you can swing by Roswell for an awesome day trip! 

 

Bottomless Lakes Campground is just 14 miles southeast of Roswell. Paddle non-motorized boats in your kayak or canoe, camp, fish, picnic, swim, hike, bird watch, or even scuba dive! This park has sinkhole lakes that range from 17 feet to 90 feet deep. Creating the illusion of great depth in the lakes is the greenish-blue color created by aquatic plants. Bottomless Lakes Campground has the following amenities:

  • 6 full hook-up campsites, 26 sites with water/electric hook-ups

Bottomless Lakes Campground also offers campground and campsite amenities you can enjoy:

 

Campground Amenities

  • Vault Toilets – the most basic restroom, no running water
  • Comfort Stations – a restroom with flushing toilets and sinks with running water
  • Showers – some comfort stations feature showers
  • Check the specific parks for drinking water availability

 

Campsite Utilities

Developed Campsites may feature the following utility hookups:

  • Electric Hook-up (30 or 50 amps)
  • Water Hook-up
  • Sewer Hook-up

 

If you are planning to stay in the area, Bottomless Lakes Campground has sites with full hookups - electric, water, and sewer. Camping fees per vehicle range from $8-18 per night depending on the type of sites you’re going to use. Most of their sites have 30-amp and 50-amp electrical, sewer, and water hookups. 

 

During your stay at Bottomless Lakes Campground, you can enjoy the use of the facilities or go exploring on nearby horse trails. The following are some of the horse trails you may want to visit:
