Additionally, a 50% camping discount is extended to those with valid passes such as the Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access passes.

While a campfire ban is in effect at Triangle Lake Horse Camp, visitors can still create a cozy ambiance for their evenings. Directions:

From Portland, OR - travel east on US Hwy 26 to Sandy. Turn right (southwest) on OR Hwy 211 and travel 6.1 miles to OR Hwy 224. Turn left (southeast) on OR Hwy 224 and travel 30.6 miles to Forest Road 46. Turn right on Forest Road 46 and travel 14.8 miles to Forest Road 42 (Skyline Road). Turn left to Forest Road 42 and travel 4.3 miles to Forest Road 4220. Turn right (south) on Forest Road 4220 and travel 9 miles (approximately 0.5 miles south of Olallie Meadows Campground) to Triangle Lake Horse Camp Road (Forest Road 4220-155 ).

 

Triangle Lake Horse Camp offers the following facilities and amenities:

Cost Details:

  • $20/night for a single site
  • $30/night for premium (double family) site
  • $5/night for extra vehicle
  • Credit & debit cards are NOT accepted; cash or check payments only.

 

Restrictions:

  • Vehicles 30 ft. max. 
  • Weed-free certified hay is required per 36 CFR 261.50.

 

Notes:

  • Bring your own drinking water.
  • All campsites are first come, first served. Olallie Lake Resort does not accept camping reservations.
  • All campfires, charcoal or briquette fires, pellet fires, or any other open fires are prohibited under a Forest Order, including in developed campgrounds.  Portable cooking stoves, lanterns, and heating devices using liquefied or bottled fuel, such as propane, are still allowed as they can be instantly switched off.  Additionally, target shooting is temporarily prohibited because of the risk of wildfire.
  • Camping: 50% discount for single-site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Acces, Golden Age or Golden Access.
