Camping: Bald Knob Campground is open July 1 through Sept. 15 with eight reservable, standard sites. There is a restroom with running water and no showers.

 

Cost Details:

  • Primitive and water trail campsites: $12
  • Standard campsites: $20 - $37
  • Partial utility campsites: $30 - $45
  • Full-utility campsites: $35 - $50

 

Notes:

  • Horses are allowed only in designated parks with equestrian trails or campgrounds.
  • Pets are allowed in most state parks but must be under physical control and on a leash of no more than eight feet.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets are not permitted on designated swim beaches.
  • Pets are not allowed inside vacation houses but are permitted in designated roofed shelters.
