Campground Variety

Directions:

From I-70, take exit 2 and turn south until you come to the BLM kiosk. Follow the map and directions to specific campgrounds and loops.

Koniklos (Equestrian) Campground

This campground is intended to be used solely by visitors who visit Rabbit Valley for horseback riding. Each site has an individual corral. There are also 10 day-use parking areas and 2 corrals for day-use. Campsites can accommodate two vehicles up to 60 feet in length. The road to this campsite is through a rocky wash and is not easily accessed by low-clearance vehicles. Additional day-use parking and horse corrals are available at the Fluffle Campground.

  • $20 per night

 

Notes:

  • Reservations are required for all camping within Rabbit Valley. 
  • Campsites are limited to 10 people and two vehicles*
  • Group sites are limited to 20 people and up to 5 vehicles. Individual group site capacities vary, double check your selected campsite capacities before making a reservation.*
  • Vehicles must be parked in designated areas, parking off-road is not allowed.
  • Stays are limited to 7 days per month.
  • No firewood gathering is allowed.
  • No water or electricity is available.
  • All members of the group will use the developed toilet facilities and/or a portable, leak-proof, reusable toilet system (or an EPA-approved carry-out bag system) to capture all solid human waste.
  • All trash, including dog waste, must be packed out.
  • Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am - Please respect other campers.
