The once cut-over slopes are now covered with well stocked stands of longleaf and slash pine. This green forest provides adequate water supplies, numerous forest products, and an ideal habitat for wildlife.

Spanning a total of 21 miles, the Longleaf Horse Camp is a tapestry of natural wonders waiting to be discovered. Divided into three distinct loops, each marked by a unique trail color, the trail provides riders with a variety of routes to choose from.
