With all of this natural beauty, it is no wonder that Roundup Horse Campground is a hotspot for visitors to the area. The campground is designed specifically for horse lovers, with numerous amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are tents, trailers, and RV campsites - all with picnic tables and fire rings, and a shower house is available. Trained horses are allowed within the campground, and there are corrals and watering areas for them.
For groups with or without horses visiting the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Roundup Horse Campground is a great place to stay. Located 12 miles from the entrance to the South Unit of the park, the campground is open from May 1 - October 31.
