The horse campsite at Hueston Woods State Park offers 28 campsites for horsemen scattered throughout the bridle paths. These sites have all the necessary amenities, such as water and electricity, and are close to the bridle trails. This makes it convenient for horse riders to saddle up and explore the beautiful trails at any time of day.
There are 252 full camping sites. They have water and electricity and there are showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities centrally located throughout this area. An additional 236 primitive campsites, with no electricity and non-flush bathrooms. For the horsemen, there are 28 campsites scattered throughout the bridle paths.
Lodge - A 96 room full service lodge that sits above Acton Lake. The lodge has a dining room, snack bar, gift shop, meeting rooms, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. There is also free Wi-Fi available.
Cottages / Cabins - There are 25 cottages that can sleep up to six people. Each is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils, towels, and bed linens. A few cottages allow pets.
Camping - There are 252 full camping sites. They have water and electricity and showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities are centrally located throughout this area.
