The Bowie Old Farm Reunion, Inc. was organized in 2007 for the purpose of preserving the history, farming methods and family life of our ancestors. We conduct an old farm show each year at the Bowie Farm in Iva, SC on the 4th Saturday of September. We welcome you to join our activities. Farming field demonstrations with livestock and antique farm equipment take place along with a grand display of antique tractors, hit and miss engines, and other old farm equipment at the Thomason Bowie museum. We have horse shows for all ages, gospel singing, wagon rides, and colonial activities like blacksmithing and quilt making. We also make surup, grits, and corn meal the old-timey way. Chlidren
