Keenes Horse Camp is a paradise for horse lovers, offering exclusive access to over 50 miles of scenic trails in the Mount Adams Wilderness area. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner, the camp provides the perfect setting to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest on horseback.
Named after Keenes Meade, a Forest Service mule packer, Keenes Horse Camp features 13 spacious campsites with Highline posts, picnic tables, and fire rings. Sites 1-8 are pull-throughs, accommodating larger rigs with ease. The camp provides toilets, manure bins, and stock water from a trough for the convenience of campers. Additionally, an accessible mounting ramp ensures that riders of all abilities can enjoy the adventure.
