Teton Canyon Campground, located in the heart of the scenic Teton Canyon at an elevation of approximately 6,500 feet, offers a tranquil and inviting setting for horse enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike. Positioned just 11 miles from Driggs, Idaho, this newly renovated campground provides a perfect base for exploring the rugged beauty of the Teton Range and the adjacent Jedediah Smith Wilderness.

For those arriving with horses, Teton Canyon Campground boasts two dedicated equestrian sites, providing ample space and necessary facilities for both riders and their steeds. These sites feature spacious corrals, two water hydrants, and several hitching posts, ensuring a comfortable stay for equestrian campers. With packed gravel surfacing throughout, these amenities are universally accessible, offering convenience and ease for visitors.

The campground’s horse transfer facility, located just 200 feet west of the main area, further enhances the horse camping experience. This facility is designed with the comfort and safety of horses in mind, making it an ideal spot for riders to prepare for their journey into the surrounding wilderness.
