Very rocky trail up to an alpine lake with amazing mountain views all around. Sections with burned forest (Hermits Peak Fire 2022). Some sections untouched by the fire and still green and lush. Several creek crossings. Easy trailer parking in designated trailer spots. No issues with cars. Only saw 2 other people on the trail. No bikes allowed on Wilderness section of trail (2nd half).
