PRESCOTT NATL FOREST Johnson Wash Trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route. This trail is ideal for hiking, horseback riding, and running, and there is unlikely to be much other traffic while you are exploring it. There are many camping opportunities along this trail, as well as beautiful views. If you are planning to hike the Great Western Trail, this would be a great place to camp. There are mainly grasslands and cacti in the area. Seasonal creek along the trail so you should still bring water to be sure.
