Suitable for hikers of all ages, this trail is great for everyone! During the hike, the trail takes you along the Thermalito Diversion Pool, which resembles a river with a lot of wildlife. The trail also goes under a train bridge and crosses over a train track. There's a long tunnel 1.2 miles in that you can walk through that makes this trail so exciting. Some areas of the trail are shaded, there are puddles of water during the rainy season, and the trail is wide enough to accommodate an all-terrain stroller. The trail stays very close to the water offering picture-perfect views of the river.
