The Potters Ravine Trail is a wide-graded natural surface trail with well-marked scenic views. The trail is either out and back or you can make a loop while staying near the shoreline. On the way back, you can take the dead cow trail up the ridge and connect back to the potters' ravine trail via the cutoff trail. You can also access the freeman memorial trail about half a mile in. There are better signs on the trail than on most streets. Oroville lake is a few miles away for water.
