This horse trail wanders through portions of the Big South Fork Recreation Area and is mostly forested and shady. You can start this horse trail from many different access points including Spruce Creek Trail Pavilion, Spruce Creek Campground and Stables, Saddle Valley Campground, True West Campground, Buck Run Horse Campground, and many others.
