This trail is 3.5 miles long with a side loop that is about 1.5 miles long. This trail allows horses and hikers. From the trail head we have a small section of trail that is shared with mountain bikers before our two trail systems split to their own sections. This is a generally easy trail with two small open bridge crossings at the beginning. Use caution when crossing. This section of the lake floods easily so conditions change frequently. The footing is mostly sandy with some rocky areas along the way. This trail has some water access but watch for boggy areas along the edge of the lake.
