This is a lovely forested shady loop but there are no views of Mt Adams unless you look real hard through the trees! Buck Creek Trail goes down across a pretty rushing creek, nice bridge with side rails, and then up out of the canyon. There are several more bridges, one on Morrison that they have hopefully repaired as a horse ahead of us fell through it with one hoof! Although it’s a longish ride it is fairly easy and suitable for most horses and riders. Would be good on a hot summer day as it’s almost completely in the shade. We took the side trail to Wicky Shelter, a good lunch spot but the hitching rail is 2/3 loose so be careful where you tie the horses. There is a picnic table there.
